Eating Edamame in Japan

The other day a large box arrived.... full of "Edamame " soy beans... the ones that only grow in certain parts of Japan. The beans are So Chisa ordered them online and then after a week they arrived.

Shota and his Mumma look like peasants from a rural village here... but they are just chopping the beans off the stalk. **Please note how Shota is wearing his slippers... so cute :p

Next the beans get washed, steamed and covered in salt... then they are ready to be eaten! I love these special soy beans :) They are served cold and taste great. So fresh and tasty!
