Japanese Class End of Year Party!

So Friday was our Japanese Class's End of Year Party. I was going to call it a Christmas Party, but the party had nothing to do with Christmas...

I was running late for the party :( Because my Boyfriend decided he needed to eat at 9am right at the time that we were supposed to be leaving... So after he ate a bowl of noodles, put on his contact lenses and brushed his teeth we were finally ready to go! He is sometimes worse than me ;)

Turned out I was only five minutes late, but the party had already started. Two Japanese people were standing at the front of the room giving what I believe to be a speech... hard to know as it was all in Japanese. Then we had story time, the first story was "The Three Little Pigs" and the second a Japanese one... all of course told in Japanese, lucky there were pictures.

Then we had a performance from a few students, one was Hawaiian lady who must have taught the dance to her two friends. It was a lovely dance and the lyrics to the song were in English.

After we had a quick game of "Don't drop the Balloon", where the balloon is put in behind two peoples backs and you have to do a lap of the room without dropping the balloon.

Then all the food and drink came out and a game of "Bingo" was started. Claire was lucky enough to get to choose the numbers that were called out.

Instead of having one winner, we had many! I ended up winning twice! Every time you got a line of numbers :) I won a wind up torch and a tissue box holder.

Group shot with everyone...

The after class Shota and I found the Machida Christmas Tree!!
