Let the Farewells Begin

Shota and I have been lucky enough to be given (so far) three Farewell Dinners, as I am typing this on the Sunday night, it leaves only one more possible day for a farewell DInner.

Our first farewell Dinner was organised by Shota's Parents and held at Cafe "La la la..", it was with Chisa's side of the family.

Chisa hired out the entire cafe and we enjoyed a set dinner menu, which was outstanding and it was all you can drink! Another bonus, as Chisa's family all enjoy the odd drink :)

Shota's Aunty Mie, organised a few games as well, which was loads of fun and really brought the family together :)

At the end of the night, Shota and I were presented with the most thoughtful gift, I shed a few tears. We received a beautiful Japanese Teapot, with cherry blossom painted on it, a set of SUPER (and very expensive) Kitchen knives, japanese style tea cups and a very "kawaii" (cute) little japanese purse, made by a disabled group.

Just before we left, I made a little speech... and shed a few tears ;( well it's hard not to be emotional! Shota's family have welcomed me into theirs and have been so kind and so generous. I will miss them all soooo much!

Here are the photos from the evening;

Everyone, including the Chef and the waitress.

It was a fabulous evening, we all had a great time, I am so lucky to have met Shota and to be part of his family :)
